Background
Diane paints many subjects, but her primary focus is on artistic architectural designs producing pen and ink, watercolor or oils of buildings, old home places, current homes, churches, libraries, hospitals, work places, etc. Art by Diane is a home business started in 1997.
She is a Signature Member of the Georgia Watercolor Society and the Alabama Watercolor Society. Her work has been accepted by the National Watercolor Society. She is a founding member and served as President of the Joseph House Art Gallery for 3 years. Diane taught art in the Columbus area for many years.
Diane was born and raised in North Carolina. She married in 1961 and military life awarded her with abundant travel and many experiences to draw from. She is active in the community and has devoted time to numerous local, state and national organizations. She is also a Master Gardener.
Her work is included in the private collections of many homes and businesses and it hangs in many government buildings in the U.S. Fort Benning Command uses her military prints are farewell gifts to soldiers and dignitaries from all countries in North and South America.
